The NextGen demonstration home featured at the International Builders Show will couple the same quality building processes used in all BrownStone custom homes with the "Fortified...for safer living"® standards. This 2500 square foot storm resistant, energy efficient home will include the latest automation technology and building products from all the NextGen participants.
The NextGen "Peace of Mind" demonstration home will be disassembled after the International Builders Show and shipped to Tampa. The home will become the model for a new gated, waterfront community on the Alafia River just 15 minutes from downtown Tampa. This community will be the first "Certified NextGen" community and the first opportunity for the public to purchase the exact model home showcased at the International Builders Show. BrownStone Builders & Associates, working in partnership with Rich Mozdzer, is both builder and developer for this community. The site plan, created by Rick Longo of Hillcrest Associates, will accommodate six “Peace of Mind” homes, in addition to 43 other two- and three-story models.
