NextGen Announces Plan to Donate Its 2011 International Builders’ Show Home To An Organization Assisting Injured Veterans

BELLEVUE WA, January 25, 2010----- iShow, producers of the NextGen Home Experience® is pleased to announce that the first of its kind NextGen “Flex-Home” Demonstration Home is coming to the 2011 International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Orlando, FL.

The NextGen “Flex-Home” will be the ninth in a series of national demonstration homes at the IBS. The “Flex-Home” theme for 2011 will have universal and accessible design appeal for builders. “There is a great opportunity for builders to provide the market with homes that offer flexibility for family members who require accessible living space, or the right environment for aging in place,” said Paul Barnett, president of iShow, producers of the NextGen Home Experience. “The numbers show almost 1 in 4 families are involved with a family member who is chronically ill or recovering from an accident or sickness, or more likely, at an age where they need a different kind of living space.”

A truly "Flex-Home" Design is one that works for the entire family, in all of life's phases, from young families to empty nesters to aging in place - one home that works for all.

Every NextGen Home is Green—Energy Efficient—Safe --- Digital and the NextGen “Flex-Home” will include all of those attributes in a totally flexible living environment. “This will be the home to see at IBS,” added Barnett, “because it will have all of the usual NextGen features and be built to a standard that is storm resistant.”

“After the IBS show our goal is to donate this special NextGen Home to an organization that provides assistance to our wounded vets as they recover from wounds sustained in service to our country. Our sponsors are very supportive of this and for our Canadian participants we plan to make a financial donation to an organization working with wounded Canadian vets who served in Afghanistan”.
